The best oil for keeping skin tissues supple, and thus to prevent stretch marks, is Organic Rosehip Oil.
Add to that, the top tissue regenerating Essential Oils, and you will have a superb homemade remedy for stretch mark prevention.
OIL TO PREVENT STRETCH MARKS
35 drops Lavender Essential Oil (but do not use Lavender Essential Oil in first trimester.)
35 drops Frankincense Essential Oil
Blend the Essential Oils into the Rose Hip Oil, by shaking several times.
Apply generously, to entire abdomen, 2 or 3 times a day.
BEST REMEDY FOR PREVENTING STRETCH MARKS
If you prefer not to use Essential Oils while pregnant, the best remedy to prevent stretch marks is Vitamin E oil.
Beware of ‘trusted’ brand names, which claim to prevent stretch marks, and heal scars. An example of this is a well known product, which is advertised in full page glossy magazines, whose name I will not mention, but you should know that it contains BHT, which is an immune system toxin. It also contains seven other chemicals, all just as bad. Do you really want your unborn baby absorbing these?
Sure, it contains essential oils of lavender, chamomile, and rosemary, but these are mixed with paraffinum liquidum, which is liquid fuel made during petroleum manufacturing.
True Vitamin E consists of: alpha, beta, delta, and gamma tocopherols, and should also contain alpha, beta, delta, and gamma tocotrienols.
The problem with most Vitamin E oils, is that they do not contain the above. Miraculously, they are all found in Red Palm Oil.
In addition, most Vitamin E oils, only contain one or two tocopherols, because most Vitamin E oils are synthetic.
But, tocotrienols have up to 60 times the antioxidant activity of ordinary Vitamin E oil.
Red Palm Oil contains the highest amount of this super potent form of Vitamin E, known as tocotrienols.
Some scientists are now claiming that the tocotrienols may be up to 40 times more powerful as antioxidants than the tocopherols.
HOW TO GET RID OF STRETCH MARKS WHILE PREGNANT
It is difficult, but not impossible, to get rid of stretch marks, once they are forming. So the best method is to prevent them from forming, or worsening. Take these steps, from the beginning of your pregnancy:
- Massage Red Palm Oil generously, over you entire abdomen, at least 3 times a day.
- Mix Red Palm Oil into your pasta and salads, or spread it on your toast. This will ensure that you are receiving the full spectrum of Vitamin E, internally, as well as externally.
- Take prenatal vitamins, which will feed your skin with the correct nutritional requirements.
- Attend prenatal yoga classes. This ensures that your skin becomes supple, so that it can stretch at the correct rate of expansion, thus preventing stretch marks.
